iii.co.uk (or Interactive Investor Share Dealing, as it’s also known) is a one-stop shop for ETF, Indices, Shares, CFD and Forex trading. It offers some of the most comprehensive market data available, with plenty of transparent advice for all users. Whether you’re new to trading or have years of experience, their up to date information and guides ought to offer you some insight into current trends on a range of instruments. As with all sites in this category, it is important to remember that you can lose money whilst trading online.

We were really impressed by the amount of information available on iii.co.uk. Although this is targeted towards UK traders, it opens up markets across the globe, offering instant updates on a wide array of products and markets. There are also guides to read, or you can request support if it’s needed, as well as community boards which are buzzing with activity. All added together, this is a great resource for finding out about recent changes in the markets, with data on the highest performing and lowest performing areas to help inform your trading decisions.

The site is very clear about the potential pitfalls of online trading, offering warnings and advice on the various risks, as well as providing plenty of information on literally hundreds of markets.  Services cover shares and funds, ISAs, SIPPs, spread betting, CFDs, Forex markets, Unit and Investment trusts, bonds, ETFs and many more, so you’re a bit spoiled for choice. This makes it a great website if you’re planning on building a substantial portfolio of different products, helping to keep things interesting and potentially spread the risk. All of these markets can be explored from a single platform, keeping your investment data in one location.

This isn’t necessarily the cheapest trading site to use. Although their spreads are tight and they offer a few bonuses, you do pay per trade, which could add up. That said, they offer discounts for regular traders, and your quarterly fee is essentially refunded because you get your first two trades for free. The nature of the instruments accessed through Interactive Investor mean that they might be better suited to traders who wish to make slightly longer-term investments, rather than buying and selling every day. You can keep a close eye on how things are going, with mobile and desktop options, plus regular browser-based updates with plenty of information to help you make wiser trading decisions
