Editor's Review:

FxPro.co.uk is a comprehensive online trading service, offering specialist tools for key markets. You can easily move between Forex, futures, indices, shares, metals and energies using one or two platforms. Meanwhile, users can easily view up to date data to identify trends and patterns, making sure they’re ready to invest at the right moment. In addition, FxPro provides a coding tool for creating your own trading algorithms, which is great for any seasoned traders out there. As with any online trading service, it’s important to remember that real money can be lost when trading on Fx Pro.

The site and software are easy to navigate, offering tools and advice for beginners and professional traders alike. You can easily switch between markets to find the most up to date information, taking advantage of the website’s tools and tips. There are plenty of statistics to view, helping you to make informed trading decisions as you browse the website and platforms.

Of those tools, we were particularly impressed by the technical analysis tools. The autochartist provides data to brokers and financial institutions using pattern recognition technologies. You can also filter data to extract particular trends or specific points of interest, setting minimum probabilities and expected price ranges. This tool is more suited to individuals or organisations who regularly practice trading, though, as it’s a pretty sophisticated bit of kit.

Trading Central combines chartist approaches with mathematical indicators and algorithms to help provide accurate forecasts. It covers Forex, equities, metals, indices and commodities, making it a flexible system. A Trading Central plug-in is easily available to download. You can also take advantage of a sophisticated coding systems which allow you to produce your own trading algorithms, producing analytics and forecasts based on your own observations, which is something special.

Tools for everyday trades on the markets, such as economics and earnings calendars.

Aside from those professional tools, the site also offers simple (but very useful) tools for everyday trades on the markets, such as economics and earnings calendars. You can also view live spread comparisons to identify potential investment opportunities.

There are four main platforms used for the various markets on FxPro. These are MT4, MT5, cTrader and FxPro. The website is very helpful in suggesting which platform is best suited to which market, so it’s worth checking them all out, particularly if you plan on trading across several markets. The website also provides information on how to get started, economics and trading terms, and more, should you need a bit of guidance.

Easily identify spreads, margins and appropriate trading platforms.
Easily identify spreads, margins and appropriate trading platforms.

Forex, futures, commodities, shares and indices markets are accessible to FxPro.co.uk users, so let’s look at those in a little more detail now.

Forex

Users can easily compare currency pairs with long and short swap values. MT4, MT5 and cTrader platforms can be used, identifying minimum and average market spreads (pips) at an instant. You may also choose to view pairs with fixed spreads. FxPro offers tight spreads on Forex CFDs, covering the main currency pairs and several lesser-known currencies. It’s worth noting that cTrader clients may have to pay a fixed commission of $45 per $1million traded.

Futures

Invest in futures for indices and commodities, commission free. Free trading demos are available if you wish to try your hand at trading in futures without any financial commitment. You can quickly switch between indices, agricultural commodities and energy, viewing descriptions, lot sizes, spreads and which platforms to trade on.

Commodities

Buy and sell in spot metals and energies through FxPro. Spreads are competitive, and you can perform currency crosses, such as Gold/USD. Minimum price fluctuations are shown, with long and short swap values, all of which should help you to identify trends to leap on.

Shares

Contracts refer to one share, so it’s not overly complex to compare one share to the next. They cover more than 150 top shares from the US and Europe, and trades are commission free. In addition, shares can offer dividend payments depending on your investment, which is a nice monetary bonus! Major companies include Apple, AT&T, Disney, eBay and many more.

Indices

Trade current spot values on key indices. There are, yet again, no commissions, plus tight spreads to help minimise losses. Indices are from across the globe, so you can trade in tickets from Australia to China, and from the UK to the US. FxPro.co.uk also shows leverage, floating spread values and more.

Summary

FxPro provides a range of useful platforms for online trading, with specialist tools to support your actions across multiple markets. You can produce your own trading algorithms, or just check the recommendations on the site’s social groups. With plenty of data across the website, Fx Pro is an all round high performer for online trading.
